Your privacy is very important to us. At Vericant we have a few fundamental principles that we follow:

• We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it to maintain the security of our interview products.
• We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
• We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our site.

Vericant operates several websites including vericant.com, vericant.cn and registration.vericant.cn. It is Vericant's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.

 

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Vericant collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Vericant's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Vericant's visitors use its website. From time to time, Vericant may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Vericant also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users. Vericant only discloses logged in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

If you fill in a contact form on this site Vericant will keep your information and will use it to contact you to answer your question or request. We may also use your email to share company updates and for marketing purposes.

Cookies

Vericant uses cookies to help Vericant identify and track visitors, their usage of Vericant's  website, and their website access preferences. For instance, Vericant may monitor the most popular pages on the Vericant.cn site or use spam screened by the Antispam Bee service to help identify spam. Vericant may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Vericant does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

How long we retain your data

If you provide information through a registration or contact form, the data and metadata are retained indefinitely.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see and edit  their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you but this may result in the cancelling of your interview. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

How we protect your data

Vericant has encrypted all passwords created on our site to help protect user's data. Any staff member with access to personal identifying information data also goes through training on how to protect it. In the case of a data breach we would contact all affected parties within 48 hours.
